New Television Ad Attacks Trial Lawyers Seeking Super Sized Payday From Obesity Lawsuits

As the debate over the nation’s expanding waistline continues, trial lawyers and food cop organizations (led by George Washington University’s John “Sue the Bastards” Banzhaf and the Center for Science in the Public Interest) are determined to gain a super-sized payday by suing restaurants and food companies. The Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) unveiled its latest television commercial today, lampooning the relentless efforts of those who seek to cash in on the nation’s obesity.

In June CCF unveiled its popular “Cookies” TV ad, which depicted a greedy trial lawyer grilling a young scout because she sold cookies to his overweight client. CCF’s newest spot follows the continuing saga of this trial lawyer, who now chases a pizza deliveryman in his search for obesity lawsuit plaintiffs-and a fat wallet.

The 15-second ad, “Delivery,” airs nationally this week on CNN’s American Morning.
